Autunno in Valle Maira
Situata nelle Alpi Cozie, la Valle Maira è una delle valli occitane della Provincia di Cuneo.
Il paesaggio della Valle Maira è piuttosto vario con una vegetazione fitta di querce, castagni,faggi e larici e pini nella parte più a nord.
Per queste sue caratteristiche, l'autunno è il mese più bello per escursioni in bassa e media valle, in quando i numerosi alberi creano delle meravigliose macchie di colore per effetto del foliage.
E' proprio in questo periodo che la Valle Maira da il meglio di sè e si colora delle più svariate tonalità di rosso, giallo ed arancione.

Autumn in Maira Valley
Located in the Cozie Alps, the Maira Valley is one of the Occitan valleys of the Cuneo Province.
Its name derives from the name of the river Maira which runs through its 45 km length.
It is one of the most secluded and silent valleys in Cuneo, excluded from mass tourism, is frequented above all by tourists who are keen on hiking and high mountains.
Narrow and sinuous, with numerous gorges, in the lower part it becomes wide in the upper part, opened towards the highest peaks.
The landscape of the Maira Valley is rather varied with a dense vegetation of oaks, chestnuts, beeches and larches and pines in the northernmost part.
Due to these characteristics, autumn is the most beautiful month for excursions in the low and middle valley, as the numerous trees create wonderful splashes of color as a result of the foliage.
It's in this season that the Maira Valley gives its best and is colored with the most varied shades of red, yellow and orange.
