Torna a Piozzo come ogni anno il tradizionale evento autunnale della Fiera Regionale della Zucca giunto quest'anno alla XXVI edizione.
Visitatori cuneesi e non possono ammirare gratuitamente una mostra con ben 550 varietà di zucca, coltivate in loco utilizzando sementi provenienti da tutto il mondo e selezionate accuratamente da esperti. Tra queste anche la Zucca Piozzo, creazione autoctona adatta in special modo per risotti.
Alla Fiera Regionale della Zucca si trovano in vendita e in degustazione numerosi prodotti a base di questo frutto tipicamente autunnale: crostate, marmellate, pane, muffin, bomboloni e cioccolatini canditi.
Lo spazio del Palazucca è riservato alle degustazioni e ogni giorno della fiera, a pranzo e cena, viene proposto un menù rigorosamente in tema.
Il programma della Fiera Regionale della Zucca prevede anche una serie di laboratori e la presenza di chef intagliatori in grado di creare meravigliose composizioni vegetali e ed anche di un costruttore di staordinari strumenti musicali realizzati con zucche secche dalle forme più strane.
Ma la Fiera Regionale della Zucca di Piozzo non è solo zucca ed accanto alle bancarelle colme di zucche multicolori sono allestiti stand con prodotti d'artigianato e alimenti tipici in grado di soddisfare qualsiasi gusto.
Una simpatica manifestazione per festeggiare l'ingresso nella nuova stagione.

Come back again in Piozzo, as every year, the traditional autumn event of the Regional Pumpkin Fair, now at the XXVI edition.
Visitors from Cuneo Province and also other regions can admire a free exhibition with as many as 550 varieties of pumpkins, grown on site using seeds from all over the world and carefully selected by experts. Among these there's also the Zucca Piozzo, an autochthonous creation suitable especially for "risotti".
Regional Pumpkin Fair a lot of products based on this typically autumnal fruit are available for sale and tasting: tarts, jams, bread, muffins, donuts and candied chocolates.
The space of the Palazucca is reserved for tastings and every day of the fair, for lunch and dinner is proposed a menu strictly on the subject.
The program of the Regional Pumpkin Fair also includes a series of laboratories and the presence of chef carvers able to create wonderful vegetable compositions and even a builder of extraordinary musical instruments made with dried pumpkins with the strangest shapes.
But the Regional Pumpkin Fair in Piozzo isn't just pumpkins and next to the stalls full of multicolored pumpkins are set up stands with handicraft products and typical foods able to satisfy any taste.
