In questi giorni Cuneo è stata invasa pacificamente da curiosi animaletti che hanno portato una nota di colore nei parchi, nelle piazze sui balconi e nelle vetrine della nostra signorile e seriosa città.
Qua è là sono comparse chiocciole giganti, suricati, lupi vigilanti, ma anche rane, pinguini, conigli dagli appariscenti colori giallo, rosso, azzurro, fucsia.
E' la Cracking Art Incursion.
Le opere d'arte, realizzate in plastica rigenerata, appartengono alla Cracking Art Group, un gruppo di artisti internazionali che esprimono attraverso l'arte il loro impegno nel sociale e in tutto ciò che riguarda la natura.
L'evento, curato in collaborazione con il comune e la Galleria d'Arte Skema5 porterà anche nei locali di quest'ultima una mostra delle opere personali degli artisti che compongono il gruppo.
E se all'inizio i cuneesi guardavano questi sgargianti animali un pò con diffidenza mista a curiosità, ora li considerano ormai parte della quotidianità.
Quando se ne andranno sentiremo la mancanza della loro colorata eccentricità che ha rallegrato un pezzo del nostro freddo autunno.
Cracking Art Incursion - Cuneo
In the last days Cuneo was peacefully invaded by curious animals that have brought a touch of color in parks, squares, on the balconies and in the shops windows of our noble and earnest city.
Hither and thither appeared giant snails, meerkats, vigilant wolves and also frogs, penguins, rabbits with flashy colors like yellow, red, blue, fuchsia.
It's the Cracking Art Incursion.
The works of art, made of plastic regenerated belong to the Cracking Art Group, a group of international artists who express through the art their commitment into the social issues and into everything concerned the nature.
The event is organized in collaboration with the municipality and the Gallery Art Skema5 that hosted also a personal exhibition of the works of the artists of the group.
Even if at the beginning Cuneo looked at these gaudy animals with suspicion mixed of curiosity, now consider them part of everyday life.
When they leave us we will be miss of their colorful eccentricity that has delighted a piece of our cold autumn.
