Cracking Art Incursion - Cuneo
In the last days Cuneo was peacefully invaded by curious animals that have brought a touch of color in parks, squares, on the balconies and in the shops windows of our noble and earnest city.
Hither and thither appeared giant snails, meerkats, vigilant wolves and also frogs, penguins, rabbits with flashy colors like yellow, red, blue, fuchsia.
It's the Cracking Art Incursion.
The works of art, made of plastic regenerated belong to the Cracking Art Group, a group of international artists who express through the art their commitment into the social issues and into everything concerned the nature.
The event is organized in collaboration with the municipality and the Gallery Art Skema5 that hosted also a personal exhibition of the works of the artists of the group.
Even if at the beginning Cuneo looked at these gaudy animals with suspicion mixed of curiosity, now consider them part of everyday life.
When they leave us we will be miss of their colorful eccentricity that has delighted a piece of our cold autumn.
The park by candlelight Cuneo
Is there something more fascinating that the flame of a candle or the flowing waters?
Perhaps many lighted lanterns that float and are carried by the flow of the placid waters of a river like it has happened yesterday at the Basse of Cuneo during the event The Park by Candlelight organized by the River Park of Stura and Gesso.
And while the lights of the evening descended on the Park and on the Stura hundreds of people stared enchanted the dance of the may flames on the water.

In posizione arretrata svetta l'alto campanile in mattoni rossi e formelle colorate.
Church of San Sebastiano - Cuneo
At the end of Contrada Mondovi street, in Cuneo, there's the Church of San Sebastiano, religious building dating from 1300 that has undergone repeated alterations over the centuries losting its original architectural features.
The present facade dates from the last decades of 1800 has a front door flanked by four Corinthian columns and fake, on the top bezel, the statue of the Saint pierced by arrows, as tradition dictates.
The interior has a fine chorus provided by the artist Tommaso Fontana in the sixteenth century.
The Church of San Sebastiano has became part of the Diocesan Museum since 2013.
In December, a creche displays historical statues of '900.
In a retracted position stands the bell tower made of red bricks and colored tiles.
