Shrine Bagot - Ormea
The Shrine Bagot is one of several shrines scattered in the municipality of Bernezzo.
It is located in the now deserted village Bagot, and is reached from the hamlet of Sant'Anna along the dirt road that comes out onto wooded hill behind it.
It is dedicated to St. Joseph, who is represented here with the baby Jesus and a lily, and was erected in 1946 as a thanksgiving to the Holy for having protected the victims of a German round.
Curious is the presence, on the side wall of the chapel, of old work tools that make reference to the carpentry job done by St. Joseph.
