Le statue del Castello di Govone
La facciata del Castello di Govone è abbellita, oltre che da una scala monumentale anche da bassorilievi e statue seicentesche in marmo provenienti dalla Reggia di Venaria Reale.
I telamoni posti sulle colonne che sorreggono il portale e la terrazza e le varie figure che decorano la facciata sono provenienti dalla fontana d’Ercole e dal Tempio di Diana smantellati in occasione del rifacimento dei giardini di Venaria.
The statues of Govone's Castle
The facade of the Govone's Castle is decorated , as well as a monumental scale, also with bas-reliefs and statues in marble, dated seventeenth-century, coming from the Palace of Venaria.
The atlas figures on columns holding up the portal and the terrace and the various figures that decorate the facade are from the fountain of Hercules and the Temple of Diana dismantled during the renovation of the gardens of Venaria.
